Scooter Olympics

The 2nd Annual Scooter Olympics at Copper is for athletes that have participated in the Feb. session of Copper Ski & Ride school’s Scooters Youth Program. This skier/boarder cross style event showcases the skills developed over the past four weeks. Two courses are available for Scooters,the upper Carefree and the lower course on Lower Roundabout. Colorado Special Olympics Winter Games

The Winter Games mark the culmination of the winter sports season for the 550 athletes who annually participate in Alpine Skiing, Cross Country Skiing, Figure Skating, Snowshoeing and Snowboarding. This season marks the 24th consecutive year Copper Mountain will host the event. Copper is proud to be the Official winter training site for all Colorado-based winter Special Olympics athletes, as well as the Official host resort for the Winter Games.
